Explain Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and then argue in favor of the perspective that is most persuasive.
It is essentially a critical compare and contrast paper:
Pick two of the philosophical traditions that we’ve discussed (i.e. Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism) and identify an issue over which those traditions disagree.
Explain both sides of the disagreement and then argue in favor of the perspective that is most persuasive.
In order to do this well, you need to clearly present the arguments in favor of both views, show that you understand how people might object to them, and explain how your preferred view can respond to those objections.
The paper should be 3 to 5 pages long, double-spaced, with 1″ margins on all sides, in an easily-readable 12-point font (Helvetica or Times New Roman preferred).
I do not require a particular way of handling citations as long as it is clear whenever you are citing someone and where that citation is from. You are not required to use any additional resources other than the material we discussed in class. In fact, it will be best if you just focus on in-class material and try to wrestle deeply with it
